Getting Started

Step 1: Add Location

  1. Go to Search at the top of the page

  2. Start with location in the search bar dropdown

  3. Choose from:

    1. Cities/Towns: Glasgow, Edinburgh, etc.

    2. Outcodes: First part of postcode (G12 from G12 9DY)

    3. Custom Areas: Draw your own search areas

Step 2: Custom Location Options

  • Draw Areas: Use a rectangle, a square, or freehand drawing

  • Multiple Locations: Add several areas to one search

  • Exclude Areas: Draw areas to exclude (e.g., all UK except London)

  • Edit Areas: Modify existing custom locations

Available Filters

Construction Value

  • Set minimum/maximum project values

  • Filter by estimated construction costs

  • Appears as label when applied

Construction Category

  • High Level: Residential, commercial, healthcare, education

  • Detailed: Click arrows to see subcategories

  • Examples: Golf courses, care homes, hotels

  • Choose broad or niche filtering

Project Stage

  • Planning, tender, construction, completed

  • Filter by current project status

  • Find projects at specific development stages

Development Type

  • New build, extension, refurbishment

  • Fit-out, demolition, renovation

  • Filter by type of construction work

Build Phase

  • Different from the project stage

  • Shows where the project is in the actual build process

  • More specific than the general project stage

Roles

  • Filter by companies already involved

  • Target Specific Roles: Architects, contractors, consultants

  • Find Opportunities: Exclude projects that already have your role

  • Example: Find projects needing catering consultants

Timeline

  • Start Dates: When projects should begin

  • End Dates: When projects should be completed

  • Set date ranges for both

Last Update/Added

  • Recently Added: Projects added to platform recently

  • Recently Updated: Projects with recent activity

  • Time Periods: 6 days, 6 months, etc.

  • Find fresh opportunities

Project Name Search

  • Search by specific project names

  • Exact Match: Precise name matching

  • Fuzzy Match: Flexible matching (recommended)

Distance from Project

  • Filter by companies working far from home base

  • Example: Projects using companies 100+ miles away

  • Useful for travel/accommodation businesses

Project Metrics

  • Ground floor area, site area

  • Number of stories, basement floors

  • Units, parking spaces

  • Filter by project size and specifications

Working with Results

Viewing Project Information

  • Project Details: Value, dates, stage, title

  • Show Companies: See all companies involved

  • Company Locations: Map shows company and project locations

  • Client Information: Who's funding the project

Project Actions

  • Follow: Add to your saved items

  • Add Reminder: Set future notifications

  • Add to Pipeline: Include in your sales process
