What This Feature Does
Instead of logging into the platform daily to check for new projects, you can set up automated alerts that notify you whenever a project matching your criteria is added. Different team members can create their own custom searches based on their specific needs-whether by project type, location, company, construction value, or project stage.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Create Your Search
Go to Search at the top of the platform
Set your search criteria:
Draw a custom area on the map or select a specific location
Add filters like construction value, project stage, use type, construction category, etc.
Drill down as specifically as you need
2. Save Your Search
Once you've set your criteria, click Save Filters
Give your search a descriptive name (e.g., "Manchester Projects Over £5M")
Click Save
3. Configure Global Settings (First Time Setup)
Before setting up individual alerts, make sure your global notification preferences are configured:
Change the setting to "Yes - Send" to enable notifications
Choose your preferred delivery method: Email or WhatsApp
Set any time blocks if needed
These global settings will apply to all your alerts by default
4. Customise Individual Search Notifications
Find your saved search and click the notification button
The panel will show your current global settings
You can customise for this specific search:
Change notification frequency (daily, weekly, monthly)
Switch between email and WhatsApp
Enable or disable alerts for this search only
Click Update to save your preferences
