What This Feature Does
You can set up customised alerts for individual projects or companies you're tracking. Receive notifications via email or WhatsApp whenever there are important updates—such as new companies added to a project, changes in start/end dates, status updates (e.g., planning to tender stage), confirmed finish dates, or when a company wins new projects.
Types of Alerts Available
For Projects:
Companies added to the project
Roles added
Team member changes
Start and end date changes
Status changes (e.g., planning to tender stage)
Confirmed finish dates
For Companies:
Added to new projects
Changes in number of projects
New bidding activity
How to Set Up Alerts
Step 1: Find the Project or Company
Go to Search and search for your desired location or criteria
Find the project or company you want to track
Step 2: Follow or Add to Pipeline
You have two options depending on where the project sits in your sales process:
Follow - Use this when you want to keep an eye on a project without actively targeting it
Add to Pipeline - Use this when you're specifically targeting a project and want to include it in your outreach schedule
Both options work the same way for projects and companies.
Step 3: Configure Alert Settings
Click on Saved in the top navigation
Go to Alerts
Find your project or company in the list
Click Edit next to the item
Step 4: Customise Your Preferences
You'll see the default settings from your global preferences:
Change "Send notifications" to "Yes"
Choose your contact method: Email or WhatsApp
If selecting WhatsApp, you can use your default number or add a specific number for this alert
Click Update to save your settings
Where to Set Up Alerts
You can add projects and companies to follow from two places:
Main search page - After running a search
Specific listing page - When viewing a project or company details

Pro Tip
Your global settings (found in Settings → Notification Preferences) will autofill as defaults, but you can override them for any individual project or company. This means you can have WhatsApp alerts for high-priority opportunities whilst keeping email notifications for everything else.
