What This Feature Does
The Settings area is your control centre for managing how and when you receive alerts from the platform. You can update your contact details, choose between email and WhatsApp notifications, set notification frequencies, and control which types of alerts you receive.
Accessing Settings
Click the settings cog in the top right corner
Select Notification Preferences
Understanding Notification Types
You'll see options for three types of notifications:
Saved searches - Alerts for your custom project searches
Pipeline - Updates on projects in your pipeline
Followed - Notifications for companies or projects you're following
Global Settings (Affects All Notifications)
These default settings apply across all three notification types:
Turn Notifications On/Off
Set to "Yes" to receive notifications
Set to "No" to stop all communications
Choose Your Contact Method
Email (default) - Alerts sent to your notification email address
WhatsApp - Requires a WhatsApp number on file
Set Time Blocks
Prevent notifications during certain hours (e.g., block alerts between 10pm and 6am)
Update Your Contact Details
Keep your active email address current
Add or change your WhatsApp number
Individual Section Settings
You can override global settings for each notification type (saved searches, pipeline, followed):
Frequency - Choose daily, weekly, or monthly updates
Contact method - Select email or WhatsApp for that specific type
Enable/disable - Turn off notifications for specific sections while keeping others active
Advanced Customisation
Beyond these global and section-level settings, you can also set unique preferences for individual items:
Specific saved searches
Individual pipeline projects
Particular companies or projects you're following
For example, you might want WhatsApp alerts for one high-priority project but email notifications for everything else.
Key Takeaway
Settings gives you complete flexibility to receive the right information, through the right channel, at the right time—without being overwhelmed by notifications you don't need.
